By creating an account or using The Ritual, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
These terms apply to all users of The Ritual, including during the free beta period and any subsequent paid subscription.
The Ritual is a trading journal and process discipline platform designed for futures traders. It allows you to log trades, track your psychology and adherence to your pre-trade plan, review patterns in your behaviour, and consult an AI reflection tool called The Oracle.
The Ritual is not a financial advisory service. Nothing on this platform — including insights generated by The Oracle — constitutes financial advice, investment recommendations, or encouragement to trade any particular instrument. All trading decisions are yours alone.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must not share your account with others or use another person's account.
You must provide accurate information when creating your account. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that contain false information or that violate these terms.
You must be at least 18 years old to use The Ritual.

The Ritual is currently in a free beta period. Pricing and billing terms will be communicated before any charges apply. We will give existing users reasonable notice before transitioning from the free beta to a paid plan.
When paid subscriptions are introduced, they will be billed on the terms disclosed at the time of purchase. Refund terms will be provided alongside pricing details.
You own your trading journal data. We store it on your behalf to power the service.
You can export all your data at any time from Settings → Data & Backup, and delete your account (and all associated data) at any time from Settings → Danger Zone.
We do not sell your personal data or trading information to third parties. See our Privacy Policy for full details of how we handle your data.
The Oracle sends trading context — including your recent journal entries, trade history, and any personal context you have provided — to Anthropic's API to generate reflections and insights. By using The Oracle, you consent to this data being processed by Anthropic in accordance with Anthropic's Privacy Policy.
The Oracle's output is for reflective purposes only and does not constitute financial advice. Do not make trading decisions solely based on AI-generated insights.
You can disable AI features or clear The Oracle's memory at any time from Settings → The Oracle.
The Ritual platform, including its design, software, and content, is owned by the operator and protected by applicable intellectual property law. You are granted a limited, non-transferable licence to access and use the platform for your personal use.
Your trading journal entries, notes, and personal data remain your property. We claim no ownership over the content you create.
We aim to keep The Ritual available and running reliably, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. During the beta period in particular, downtime and changes to features should be expected.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Ritual and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss — including trading losses — arising from your use of the platform or reliance on any content generated by The Oracle.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months preceding the claim.
You may terminate your account at any time via Settings → Danger Zone → Delete Account. All your data will be permanently deleted upon account deletion.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, with or without notice. In cases of clear abuse we may act immediately; for other violations we will generally attempt to contact you first.
We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you via email or an in-app notice at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.
